This policy applies to the HEAL mobile app and any associated services offered through Adaptable Therapeutic Support.
What Data We Collect
When you use the HEAL app, we may collect the following types of data:

Payment details (processed securely via Stripe)
App Data:
Journal entries
AI chatbot interactions
Self-paced course progress
Device and usage data
Therapy Clients Only (if engaging in virtual sessions):
Clinical notes and session information stored in Halaxy, a secure healthcare CRM
How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
Provide you with access to the app and its features
Improve the services and resources we offer

Ensure clinical documentation is safely stored (for therapy clients)
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
How Your Data Is Stored
All app data (journal entries, preferences, tool use, chatbot conversations) is securely stored on Firebase servers located in Australia.
If you are participating in therapy sessions, your session notes and personal information are securely stored in Halaxy, a privacy-compliant Australian healthcare CRM system.
Subscription and payment information is processed via Stripe, a secure third-party payment platform compliant with global standards (including PCI DSS).
Your Rights & How to Manage Your Data
We believe you have full control over your healing journey.
Delete Journal Entries: You can manually delete any or all of your journal entries from within the app.
Request Full Data Deletion: If you wish to have your data completely removed from our records, you can email us at info@adaptablesupport.com.
End of Subscription: If your subscription ends or is cancelled, your data will be permanently deleted after a secure grace period to ensure privacy and system closure.
Therapy Records: Records from therapeutic sessions are subject to healthcare retention laws (e.g. 7 years for adults in Australia) and cannot be deleted immediately but can be reviewed upon request.
Data Security Measures
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Access is limited to qualified personnel and systems strictly on a need-to-know basis.
Regular audits and updates are conducted to maintain data security.
Children and HEAL
HEAL is not intended for users under the age of 18 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to legal requirements or app functionality. We will notify users of significant updates through the app or by email.
